Job summary

Southern Vitreoretinal Associates in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to implement and support a global infrastructure spanning local and cloud environments. The role requires on-site work with some evenings or weekends as needed and participation in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include data center operations, cloud design and administration, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with third-party managed services to protect business

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare experience with medical group or health system.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working within a Windows Server and an Active Directory environment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience working within at least three of the following disciplines; Server Virtualization, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, System Center Configuration Manager, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network Addressable Storage (NAS), and/or Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the technical infrastructure for the organization, including data center operations, the physical and virtual server environment, cloud environments and the SAN environments.
• Oversees and coordinates data operations, business continuance and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure that the Cloud Infrastructure is designed, deployed, and administered in alignment with our business objectives, and in alignment with our security, availability, and performance requirements.
• Responsible for system up time, availability, and business continuity in conjunction with the application owners.
