Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ seeks an Application Specialist to lead end-user meetings, define requirements, and ensure backend settings align with organizational needs. You will train users, document process changes, and provide ongoing application support across departments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 3+ years of experience maintaining applications, with familiarity in the healthcare industry and strong communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining applications preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with software applications.
• Familiarity with implementing and maintaining applications.
• Good organizational, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and attend end user meetings to determine application needs and document requirements.
• Confirm backend application settings and data management per organizational needs.
• Research software versions, train users, and document process changes.
• Troubleshoot with end-users and developers.
• Provide application support and collaborate with IS and hospital departments.
• Maintain policies and procedures, quality assurance, safety and infection control standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tasks and projects.
• Continue professional development and stay informed on industry trends.
