• Support transaction processes from client engagement through to deal execution and closing.

• Take ownership of key transaction workstreams while developing client-facing experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-performing Investment Banking Senior Analyst or Junior Associate to join a leading Investment Banking platform in New York, within its established Healthcare M&A team.

The team advises a broad range of healthcare businesses, private equity sponsors and strategic investors on complex M&A transactions, with a strong emphasis on sell-side advisory.

The Role

• Execute and support sell-side M&A transactions across the Healthcare sector.


• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO and comparable company / transaction analysis.


• Prepare confidential information memorandums (CIMs), management presentations and other transaction marketing materials.


• Conduct detailed industry, company and market research.


• Support transaction processes from initial client engagement through to deal execution and closing.


• Work closely with senior bankers, clients, private equity sponsors and strategic acquirers.


• Take ownership of key transaction workstreams while developing client-facing experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently operating at Senior Analyst or Junior Associate level within an Investment Banking M&A team.


• Strong Healthcare Investment Banking experience is essential.


• Demonstrable sell-side M&A transaction experience.


• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.


• Experience preparing CIMs, management presentations and transaction documentation.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate in a demanding, fast-paced environment.


• A strong academic background and outstanding attention to detail.
