Job summary

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to support accurate flow of supplies, stocking storerooms and coordinating deliveries to departments. You will use FIFO, assist with inventories, and maintain records in the ERP system to ensure patient care operations run smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 years in supply chain, knowledge of inventory calculations, and the ability to lift and move materials safely in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years in supply chain involving inventory calculations for bulk distribution, par levels, and units of measure.
• 1–3 years in supply chain, warehouse, inventory control, or materials management preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips and reporting discrepancies to leadership.
• Stocks storeroom and warehouse items using FIFO to ensure proper inventory rotation.
• Maintains safety stock levels by reviewing min/max quantities for storeroom and POC areas.
• Performs physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Picks and stages supplies based on requisitions and applies patient charge stickers where applicable.
• Organizes and maintains PAR locations with proper labeling and restocking.
• Delivers non-stock and stock items to departments with signatures for confirmation.
• Coordinates outbound shipments for returns and prepares related documentation.
• Keeps storeroom and warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
• Supports semi-annual and year-end inventory processes and data validation.
• Enters data into ERP or inventory system for receipts, adjustments, transfers, and requisitions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
