Job summary

West Tennessee Healthcare in Jackson, TN seeks a Central Stores Associate to deliver medical supplies and equipment to nursing units, retrieve items from supply areas for cleaning, and maintain par-level inventory accuracy.

You will use Windows-based systems and handheld inventory tools, with overtime and on-call responsibilities as required by the hospital, under supervision of Central Stores West leadership.

Qualifications

• Inventory management experience.
• Proficient with Windows-based computer applications.
• Experience with handheld inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical supplies and equipment to nursing stations and departments.
• Maintain inventory control through distribution of supplies and par-level carts.
• Retrieve soil supplies and equipment from soil rooms for cleaning and following standard procedures.
• Assist in posting charges for supplies and ensure correct item/quantity on patient requisitions.
• Log equipment via computer and monitor inventory levels at each nursing station.
