Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center in Alabama is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate storeroom and warehouse inventory and verify stock levels. You will assist with item placement and stock control to ensure availability for patient care.

You will also support nursing managers with supply locations, add/delete items and users, and train staff as needed. Regular audits help ensure accuracy, cost control, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience with medical and non-medical supplies.
• Required Registration/License/Certification.
• MVR - deliver to offsite locations as needed.
• Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain storeroom and warehouse inventory, verify accuracy.
• Assist nursing managers with supply locations and user access.
• Conduct regular audits of supply locations and stock.
• Add/delete supply items and users; provide training as needed.
