Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated supply chain associate to maintain hospital inventory, deliver supplies and equipment across the campus, and support replenishment activities. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The position involves stocking, rotation of inventory, and periodic cycle counts, with opportunities for growth and professional development. A high school diploma or GED is required, and college experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• College experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory management and stock rotation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory and orderliness of assigned medical supply stock locations ensuring stocking locations are adequately stocked with supplies.
• Monitors expiration dates and rotates stock; notifies leader when par levels are inadequate.
• Replenishes perpetual inventory locations and tracks stock usage.
• Retrieves, cleans, stores, and delivers moveable medical equipment.
• Participates in cycle counts and inventories as directed by Supervisor.
• Transports equipment, supplies, specimens, and mail to various locations as needed.
• Ensures safe transport of medical gases between storage locations.
