Job summary

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a Stock/Inventory Clerk to oversee system management, replenishment, receipt, storage and distribution of inventory supplies. You will use Lawson software to handle inquiries and processing and maintain item master data for the storeroom and par locations.

The role requires 2–3 years of related experience and a high school diploma. You will participate in vendor communications, cycle counts and process improvements while ensuring service levels and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of related experience managing replenishment, receipt, storage and distribution of inventory supplies and materials.
• Previous experience with state of the art computerized inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish appropriate inventory levels balancing costs with service levels (98% minimum fill rates).
• Create vendor requisitions for inventory products.
• Generate documentation for additions, deletions and item master maintenance in hospital storeroom and par locations.
• Research departmental supply backorders and update order status with vendors.
• Research and resolve inventory variances identified by Cycle Count Program.
• Resolve over/under shipments, damaged shipments, and vendor returns with procurement and vendors.
• Utilize Lawson software for inquiry, research and processing.
• Generate and print documents used in Stores Inventory Pick and Pack process.
• Handle department requests (inquiries, problems, pickups, stat requests).
• Provide guidance, training and backup for Stock Control Clerks.
• Comply with customer service and process improvement philosophies and all policies.
