Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse community college students.
• Bachelor's degree plus two years related experience; or Associate degree plus six years; or equivalent.
• Hold a Life California Community College Instructor Credential in Computer and Related Technologies or CS.
• Desirable: experience teaching healthcare interpreters; multiple-language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Teach Healthcare Interpreting courses using an equity-centered, community-informed approach.
• Deliver courses in in-person, hybrid, and online formats via Canvas LMS.
• Develop syllabi, grading criteria, andLOs; assess student progress.
• Evaluate student performance through observations, assignments, and tests.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and meet deadlines for reporting.
