Reedley College seeks an Healthcare Interpreter Instructor/Coordinator for its Health Care Interpreter Certificate Program. This part-time faculty pool position involves teaching courses, developing materials, and coordinating the program, including admissions and student support.

Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds in community college settings.
Bilingual/bi-literate and bi-cultural in Spanish is desirable.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in the Health Care Interpreter program.
Develop and assess instructional materials and student learning outcomes.
Coordinate the Health Care Interpreter Certificate Program, including admissions, advising, job referrals, and graduation ceremonies.
Establish and maintain fieldwork sites, including contract management.
Place students in fieldwork sites and ensure health clearances and background checks are completed.
Facilitate communication between college and fieldwork sites.
Support the institution’s vitality and growth.
