Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network seeks an Integrations Developer II to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support interoperability solutions enabling secure exchange of clinical and business information across the organization and with external partners.

Responsibilities include HL7 v2.x interfaces, FHIR-based integrations, and APIs, with emphasis on data quality, privacy, and security, collaborating with clinical, operational, and vendor teams to support critical workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with HL7 v2.x messaging interfaces (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT)
• Knowledge of FHIR-based integrations and APIs
• Understanding healthcare data privacy and security requirements

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and clinical integration requirements
• Develop and support HL7 v2.x interfaces and FHIR-based integrations
• Build and maintain APIs for interoperability
• Troubleshoot interface and interoperability issues
• Perform interface testing and validation and ensure data quality and security
• Collaborate with IT staff, vendors, and external organizations to support workflows
