The candidate will develop healthcare environments from conception to completion, collaborating with the design team and clients to create healing, evidence-based spaces. The role involves producing construction documents in Revit, coordinating with BIM models, selecting finishes, and mentoring junior designers.

Lawrence Group is seeking an Interior Designer with 7-10 years of professional experience to join our St. Louis Healthcaren team in a full-time position. The team specializes in collaborating with clients to develop innovative, evidence-based healing environments to inspire and meet our client’s needs. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the design team to develop innovative and appropriate design solutions on healthcare projects, creating overall design concepts from inception to completion, including research, planning, programming, development of project presentations for client and business development opportunities, providing finish material selection/specifications, construction document through construction administration. This candidate will also provide mentorship and creative direction to the design team. Having multiple roles contributing as a member of a larger design team and at other times, acting as the primary design interface with clients and consultants.
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
This job operates in a professional office environment with hybrid schedule capability. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position requires no minimum ability to lift, bend or stand.
This is a full-time position with typical Monday-Friday work schedule.
Moderate travel is expected for this position.
