Job summary

Join the Cleveland Clinic Health System team in Florida as an Interior Designer. You will support Design Studio projects across renovation and new construction, collaborating with architects, planners and interior designers to ensure design intents align with client needs.

You will help develop budgets and schedules, manage scopes of work, and contribute to a range of assignments requiring architectural and interior design skills. Travel between facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Healthcare Facilities Planning and Design.
• Healthcare facility planning experience with materials, finishes and furniture for projects.
• Two years of professional experience (including internship).
• Knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements and FGI Guidelines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Organize assignments, goals, schedules, people and processes and assess facility and space requests including furniture needs.
• Assist in space program development for projects involving renovation, new construction or no construction.
• Collaborate with architects and interior designers to translate design concepts into functional spaces.
• Educate stakeholders on interior design trends within health systems.
• Assist in walkthroughs, field verification and project scope documentation.
• Perform furniture planning and finish/material selections for clinical, research, educational and admin areas.
• Create and document ideas in 2D/3D to portray initial concepts.
• Prepare and present project information, design guidelines, and studies.
• Assist in developing furniture specifications and coordinating with suppliers.
