Job summary

Global Silicon Valley is seeking an experienced Interior Construction Superintendent to lead healthcare interior construction and renovation within occupied medical facilities. The role requires hands-on leadership, coordination of multiple trades, and strict adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards.

Ideal candidates possess experience in hospital renovations or occupied spaces, knowledge of infection prevention, and proficiency with construction management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years as a Superintendent in commercial interior construction.
• 2+ years of healthcare construction or renovation in occupied facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP drawings.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with construction management and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for interior healthcare construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and facility personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to meet milestones.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA requirements, and project safety plans.
• Maintain infection prevention requirements and ICRA/ILSM protocols.
• Monitor workmanship for compliance with specs and quality standards.
• Lead site inspections, address field issues to protect schedule and budget.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and closeout docs.
• Keep detailed daily progress reports and lead stakeholder meetings.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders for field accuracy.
• Manage logistics in occupied facilities with minimal patient disruption.
