Qualifications

• Experience checking authorizations and CPT codes.
• Healthcare experience is required or strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of payer guidelines and CPT coding helpful.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance information for accurate eligibility.
• Determine if secondary insurance should be added and select payer.
• Enter patient insurance into the accounting system accurately.
• Inform patients of estimated co-insurance and deductibles.
• Call patients to review financial responsibility before service.
