Job summary

Neville Foot & Ankle Centers is seeking an Experienced Insurance Verification Specialist to verify insurance coverage for new patients and referrals, update information, and obtain pre-authorizations. You will explain financial responsibilities to patients and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of data.

The role requires strong phone communication, detail orientation, and knowledge of insurance systems. Eclinical and Availity experience are a plus, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of CPT codes and basic medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments or procedures.
• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain authorizations and clarify coverage details.
• Maintain accurate records of insurance verifications in the medical office system.
• Assist patients in understanding out-of-pocket costs and financial responsibilities.
