Job summary

Children's National Hospital is seeking an Instructional Designer to join the Developing Brain department on the main campus in Washington, DC. This full-time role focuses on assessing learning needs, recommending technology-based and blended solutions, and designing engaging learning modules and materials.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in instructional design or related field and at least 5 years of instructional design experience, including full project lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education or related field is required.
• 5 years of instructional design experience covering full project life cycle including assessment, strategy, design, programming, testing and launch.

Responsibilities

• Recommend technology-based solutions by analyzing needs with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Design, develop and deliver enterprise level technology-based training solutions including mobile and blended formats.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to create high-quality digital media for LMS delivery.
• Manage project plans, resources, schedules, and documentation across multiple programs.
