Barnes-Jewish Hospital is looking for a Healthcare Informatics Specialist. This role focuses on extracting information from various data sources such as EPIC, data warehouse, and SQL server. This team provides Clinical Engineering, Imaging Informatics, Clinical Equipment Asset Management and Planning and Clinical Equipment Capital Project Management services throughout the BJC HealthCare system.
Role Purpose
Considered to be the subject matter expert with broad knowledge of all areas of biomedical informatics and applies this expertise to complex project and strategic initiatives. Oversees the design and application of established methods and processes to assist users with the generation, storage, retrieval, use and sharing of biomedical information and knowledge. This role bridges the gap between business users, clinicians, scientists and IT personnel.
