William Blair, a premier global partnership, invites applications for an Analyst role dedicated to supporting investment banking activities. You will conduct in-depth analyses, financial modeling, and due diligence under the guidance of senior team members, collaborating with client staff to gather information and present results.

You will build models (DCF, comps, precedents), draft management presentations, assist in proposals, and participate in client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of investment banking experience as an Analyst preferred.
• Genuine interest in healthcare sector.
• SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 within 150 days (US only).
• Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Travel approx. 5%.
• Open to Associate candidates as well as Senior Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive financial/valuation analyses to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions.
• Build financial models to value potential and actual clients and industries (DCF, comps, precedents).
• Perform due diligence, research, analysis and documentation of transactions; elevate concerns as needed.
• Draft management presentations highlighting financial analysis and research results.
• Assist in development and delivery of proposals and marketing materials for clients.
• Participate in client meetings and drafting sessions.
• Research industries to target clients as identified by senior bankers; improve content."
• Seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Support client relationships by understanding client needs and providing responsive service.
• Develop understanding of macro factors related to client industry and products.
• Mentor summer interns and junior analysts; share best practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules and policies.
