Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair HVAC systems across the campus. You will perform routine maintenance on chillers and HVAC equipment, respond to emergencies, and provide timely service after hours to minimize disruption to patient care.

Required is a High School diploma with an HVACR-related degree preferred and EPA Section 608 Type Universal certification; 1 year of related experience is required with 5+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree in HVACR preferred.
• 1 year of related experience required; 5+ years preferred with HR substitution allowed.
• EPA Section 608 Certification, Type Universal, is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment to operate safely and efficiently.
• Handles emergency repairs and after-hours repairs to minimize disruption to patient care.
• Operates and performs routine maintenance on chillers and HVAC equipment.
• Supports a harmonious, team-oriented environment and good patient/guest relations.
