Job summary

Prime Healthcare's St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL is seeking a full-time, on-site Human Resources professional to lead recruitment, training, and employee relations.

The role requires strong knowledge of hospital operations and wage laws, with a focus on program development and policy advisement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree (or 5 years of relevant experience) and at least 2 years of healthcare experience; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Formulate and manages programs related to selection, training, promotion, and other employer/employee relationships.
• Interviews job applicants; develops personnel record forms; resolve disputes and grievances; recommends disciplinary actions.
• Analyzes, classifies and evaluates jobs; administers employee welfare and recreation services.
• Advises executive staff on policies, programs, and proposed organization changes.
