Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking a HR Manager to lead human resources operations in Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on onboarding, training, employee relations, and policy interpretation, ensuring regulatory compliance and high retention.

You will partner with department leaders to implement HR programs, manage staff, and oversee workforce planning and succession initiatives to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 8 years of advanced responsibilities in HR; healthcare preferred.
• 3 years management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of compensation, employee relations, performance management, and employment laws.
• California wage and hour laws experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training to promote engagement and retention.
• Provide HR guidance on employment, compensation, benefits and retention to department leaders.
• Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues with objectivity.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Collaborate with HRD on restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
• Identify training needs and monitor success of training programs.
• Supervise HR staff.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track and process Leaves of Absence.
