Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents. The role involves supervising housekeeping tasks, infection control, and PPE compliance while coordinating daily operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting care planning with the housekeeping team. Prior healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare housekeeping is an advantage.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward working with residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following infection control protocols.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas for cleaning supplies.
• Adhere to safety regulations and use PPE as required.
• Provide courteous, respectful service to residents, families, and staff; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning as needed.
• Perform other duties to support facility operations.
