Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor for Colonial Oaks Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bossier City, LA. You will supervise Environmental Services staff to keep the center sanitary, attractive, and orderly, coordinating with nursing and other departments to meet care standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a commercial setting with laundry/housekeeping knowledge.
• 2+ years experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services staff and daily work across center while managing budgets and staffing.
• Assists in creating and implementing housekeeping programs and standards.
• Trains housekeeping and laundry staff on cleaning, laundry and maintenance tasks; assigns duties and inspects work.
• Ensures environmental and linen cleanliness and sanitation for resident safety and comfort.
• Organizes shifts and arranges replacements for absences.
• Coordinates with residents, nurses and other staff on environmental service requests and infection control.
• Prepares schedules for housekeeping tasks and ensures safety and sanitation policy compliance.
• Performs daily rounds and inspections for cleanliness and safety; educates staff on safety guidelines.
• Performs housekeeping duties per program and prepares rooms for admissions/discharges.
• Coordinates with maintenance for floors, rooms and offices; handles cleaning of various areas and inventory of supplies.
• Performs terminal cleaning for discharged rooms and isolation-unit cleaning as needed.
