Job summary

Sandimasretirement is seeking a housekeeping professional to join our team as a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide. Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will help maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents and assist with daily tasks to support a safe and dignified living space.

You will perform duties such as cleaning rooms and common areas, assisting with laundry, following infection control procedures, and reporting hazards promptly to ensure a healthy facility.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination confirmed, with booster.
• Regular attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors and other areas to health standards.
• Clean resident rooms according to schedule and facility procedures.
• Assist with laundry and changing linens as needed.
• Restock supplies and keep storage areas tidy and safe.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control procedures.
• Report hazards to Housekeeping Supervisor or Administrator.
• Attend in-service training classes as assigned.
• Other duties as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Administrator.
