Job summary

Sandimasretirement in Montclair, CA is seeking a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide to join our care team. Under the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will help maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, assisting with laundry, following universal precautions, reporting hazards, and supporting other departments as needed to ensure a safe, welcoming facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical work including standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 65 pounds.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster shots.
• Ability to follow universal precautions and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and other areas to meet health standards.
• Assist with laundry and related duties as needed.
• Maintain storage areas and carts, keep them organized and locked when not in use.
• Report hazards and equipment issues to supervisor or administrator.
• Attend in-service training as assigned.
• Provide support to other areas of the building as needed.
