Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is hiring a Housekeeping Aide in Duluth, MN. You will maintain clean and safe environments across hospitals, nursing homes, and other facilities, performing routine housekeeping tasks and following infection-control procedures.

You will work with healthcare staff, enjoy flexible scheduling, and benefit from competitive pay, weekly pay, and benefits. Prior healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in housekeeping, healthcare, or cleaning preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and infection-control procedures
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical housekeeping duties
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe environments for patients, residents, staff, and visitors in healthcare settings.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and removing trash.
• Follow proper infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures when cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas.
• Replenish supplies and report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Work alongside healthcare professionals and facility staff to help maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and residents.
