Pacific Coast Manor in Capitola, CA is looking for a Housekeeper/Janitor. We’re willing to train, and new grads are welcome to join our team. This role supports the daily cleaning of a 24-hour skilled nursing facility to ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, chemical handling, equipment maintenance, and timely completion of duties. Excellent customer service and a desire to maintain a safe workplace are essential.

Qualifications

• Operate standard housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mops, brooms, etc.).
• Outstanding customer service and a kind communication style.
• Desire to keep workplace clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Performs various cleaning assignments as directed by supervisor. Includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, trash disposal.
• Abides by safe and proper handling of all chemical/cleaning products and stocking of housekeeping carts.
• Cleans and tidies all assigned areas to satisfactory standards within designated timelines.
• Creates/follows daily job duties lists in collaboration with supervisor and other housekeepers, maintaining a record of serviced rooms/areas.
• Maintains all equipment in good working condition, reporting any needs for repairs.
• Reports equipment/product needs, policy violations and patient condition changes as needed.
• Handles guest complaints/requests and informs others to ensure patient and guest satisfaction.
