Job summary

PruittHealth in Moultrie, GA seeks a Housekeeper HCC to provide safe, sanitary cleaning in resident areas, halls and public spaces. You will mop, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms, dust surfaces and manage waste following state and facility policies.

No prior healthcare housekeeping is required; on-the-job training is provided. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and previous healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors following procedures.
• Vacuum carpets in appropriate areas.
• Empties trash, cleans exterior/interior areas, and liners replaced.
• Cleans bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets per procedures.
• Cleans glass surfaces including mirrors and windows.
• Cleans behind and underneath furnishings.
• Follows infection control standards during cleaning.
• Prevents wax/dirt buildup in corners, baseboards and doorways.
• Changes soiled privacy curtains and draperies as needed.
• Removes and rehangs curtains/draperies for outside windows.
• Dusts/damp cleans surfaces in patient/resident rooms.
• Moves furniture to clean behind/underneath.
