Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors.
• Vacuums carpeted rooms as applicable.
• Empties trash cans, cleans exterior and interior areas, and replaces with a clean liner.
• Cleans bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets following procedures.
• Cleans glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows.
• Cleans behind and underneath furnishings.
• Follows infection control standards while performing cleaning.
• Prevents/removes wax/dirt buildup in corners, around baseboards, and in doorways.
• Changes soiled privacy curtains and draperies for outside windows as needed.
• Removes and re-hangs curtains and draperies for outside windows using a ladder.
• Dust/damp cleans surfaces in patient/resident rooms following procedures.
• Moves furniture to clean behind/underneath according to procedures.
