Job summary

The Housekeeper at (Waverly Hills Post Acute) Waverly SNF Healthcare, LLC maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role focuses on cleaning public areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms to support health and comfort within the facility.

Responsibilities include following safety protocols, using cleaning equipment properly, reporting safety concerns, and coordinating with the Director of Housekeeping or Nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris.
• Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols, including using caution signage and storing chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Report any resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing.
• Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet facility standards.
