Job summary

Mirage Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. You will clean public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms, restock supplies, and follow safety procedures to reduce hazards and odors.

We value attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior housekeeping experience in healthcare a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedure manuals and directions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to solve practical problems in variable situations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas (lobbies, restrooms, floors).
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized.
• Wipe down handrails and surfaces.
• Remove dirt, dust, and debris from walls, mirrors, fixtures.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and store chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Keep carts and storage areas clean and organized.
• Report safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
