Job summary

Kettering Health Network Hamilton is seeking a Gardener II to maintain the grounds and landscaped areas of Kettering Health facilities. You will contribute to a safe, welcoming and healing environment for patients, visitors, and staff by performing routine landscape care and seasonal maintenance.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years of nursery, greenhouse, or grounds maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of nursery, greenhouse, or professional gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• If applying restricted-use pesticides, obtain a Commercial Applicator License (Ornamental Plant and Shade Tree Pest Control) from the Ohio Department of Agriculture within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds and landscaped areas of Kettering Health facilities to ensure appearance and safety.
• Supports a safe, welcoming, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to safety and regulatory standards.
