Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain our facility grounds, parking areas, sidewalks and landscaping. You will operate landscape equipment, manage irrigation systems and perform preventive maintenance on grounds tools, ensuring safety and aesthetics.

The role includes working Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM at BUMC Tucson, and collaborating with staff, patients and vendors to keep outdoor spaces welcoming and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate all required landscape equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Preference for one+ years of grounds keeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance of facility grounds, maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs and flower beds.
• Inspects and maintains sidewalks, parking lots, and entrances ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Monitors and maintains irrigation systems; repairs components as needed.
• Coordinates maintenance of grounds tools and equipment, including cleaning and sharpening.
• Follows safety standards and reports unsafe equipment.
• Works with staff, patients, vendors and contractors as needed.
