Job summary

The Lanai Community Health Center is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain safe, clean outdoor spaces, buildings, and equipment on site. You will perform mowing, edging, pruning, litter removal, and basic repairs while coordinating with clinic staff and leadership to minimize disruption to patient care.

Valid driver’s license is required; healthcare facilities experience is a plus. This role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in groundskeeping or facility maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, planting beds, shrubs, and landscaped areas via mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, and limited pruning.
• Remove litter, leaves, and debris from grounds, walkways, and surrounding edges.
• Keep patient access routes and exits clear; identify and report safety hazards.
• Inspect irrigation systems and report necessary repairs beyond scope.
• Clean exterior surfaces and furnishings; pressure wash only when trained.
