Job summary

Kittitas Valley Healthcare in Ellensburg, WA is seeking a WorkPlace Health Technician to join our healthcare team. You will handle reception duties, medical records, referrals, pre-authorizations, scheduling, and payments while supporting patient flow and clinic operations.

The role requires a High School diploma, MS Office skills, DOT urine drug screen and breath alcohol certification (or within 60 days), and potential bilingual Spanish certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current computer experience (medium to expert level) in Microsoft products.
• Be certified for DOT urine drug screen collections and breath alcohol testing or become certified for both within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties, medical records, referrals, pre-authorizations, scheduling, and taking payments.
• Nasal swab collections, urine collections and testing, urine drug screen collections and testing, breath alcohol testing.
• Fingerprinting services through contracted service; work closely with healthcare team and external customers.
