Job summary

Dublin Post Acute is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floors throughout the facility, including resident rooms and common areas. You will operate floor-care equipment, sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing as needed to keep floors professional and sanitary.

Follow chemical labels, SDS, and PPE requirements while adhering to infection control procedures. Report hazards promptly, and support routine housekeeping duties as needed to maintain a safe,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to operate floor-care equipment and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors in resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, buff, and polish floors as needed.
• Operate floor-care equipment and ensure equipment is cleaned after use.
• Follow SDS, chemical labels, PPE and infection control procedures at all times.
• Report hazards, damages, or equipment malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
