Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking a Floor Technician at Hayes Barton Place to maintain floors, carpets, and common areas. The role involves dusting, buffing, shampooing, and deep cleaning while supporting housekeeping and resident comfort.

Applicants should be able to follow schedules, read and write clearly, and present a neat appearance. A high school diploma and uniform compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write with clarity to follow instructions.
• Must be kind and respectful to residents.
• Must follow cleaning, mopping, and buffing schedules.
• Must wear appropriate uniform and name tag.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop or vacuum corridors daily.
• Buff designated hard surface areas daily.
• Shampoo and/or extract carpeted areas daily.
• Keep corridors clean; baseboards and corners.
• Assist Housekeeping Assistants as needed.
• Assist with room cleaning for new admissions or transfers.
• Strip, wax and seal floors per schedule.
• Deep clean resident room floors per schedule.
• Assist with room setup and cleanup for meetings.
• Move soiled linen and return clean carts as needed.
• Clean equipment and dispose of soiled items properly.
• Assist director with duties as requested.
• Recheck all areas and clean as needed before end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
