Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Floor Tech HCC to maintain clean environments for our patients, ensuring floors are dusted, swept, mopped, buffed, stripped and kept safe for daily activity.

The role includes operating housekeeping equipment, cleaning and storing tools, and reporting any repairs. Waste disposal procedures are followed as directed by a supervisor, with on-the-job training provided and opportunities to contribute to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Experience with cleaning products, procedures, equipment and healthcare field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wash floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
