Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients in our healthcare facility. You will perform floor care, including dusting, sweeping, mopping and buffing, and you will help store equipment and report repairs.

The role requires the ability to follow procedures, handle waste disposal, and assist with housekeeping tasks as assigned. On-the-job training is provided; experience with cleaning products and healthcare settings is preferred, and a high school

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Experience with cleaning products, procedures, equipment and healthcare field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wash floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
