Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a dedicated housekeeping staff member to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff at our facility. Responsibilities include routine floor care, cleaning and storing equipment, and promptly reporting repairs to ensure a hygienic environment.

The role requires on-the-job training with preference for experience in healthcare cleaning and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Experience with cleaning products, procedures, equipment and healthcare field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wash floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
