Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior floor care or environmental services preferred, training provided.
• Knowledge: Floor cleaning techniques, tools and chemicals.
• Safety: Follow infection control guidelines and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily floor cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stain removal.
• Buff, polish, and wax floors to maintain cleanliness and shine.
• Use floor care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, extractors) for deep cleaning.
• Maintain floor care equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report needs.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to meet floor care needs.
