Qualifications

• 3 years financial analysis or public accounting experience, healthcare preferred.
• Epic EHR familiarity is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related area or MBA are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex financial evaluations of new programs/ventures, including assessment of volume, reimbursement, payor mix, operating costs, working capital needs, and capital requirements in accordance with GAAP.
• Accurately prepares and analyzes statistical information and performs retrospective analysis for department managers to evaluate health system performance.
• Writes queries to extract data from multiple sources.
• Synthesizes data into meaningful financial analyses to support business decisions.
• Communicates results to data requestors to ensure correct interpretation.
• Conducts profitability analyses of hospital product lines and draws conclusions.

Prepares the analysis for the support of business plan development (proforma, retrospective analyses), service line reporting, charge master support, revenue and reimbursement analyses, as well as the ad hoc reporting needs of management.Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related/relevant area or Master's in Business Administration.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. CPA preferred.Work Experience: 3 years financial analysis or public accounting experience, healthcare preferred. Epic EHR familiarity is highly preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong computer aptitude/abilities - must be proficient at manipulating and analyzing large databases. Proficient in Excel and Access. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to serve with a very strong customer service orientation.
