Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks a Vice President of Finance to lead the regional finance function, guiding directors and analysts to drive performance. This role serves as the primary finance partner to the Regional CEO and leaders, using FP&A and Health Analytics to enable strategic targets.

Required are a healthcare-focused finance background, 7–10 years of experience, leadership capabilities, and strong communication with physicians. Catholic ethics guide decisions in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related degree is required.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible healthcare experience or related work.
• Deep understanding of finance, reimbursement, budgeting, and strategic planning in healthcare.
• Healthcare leadership experience with executive presence.
• Experience working with physicians and direct care providers.
• Makes alignment with Catholic ethics, values and principles evident in practice.
• CPA or master’s level coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the people and processes that support and drive regional performance.
• Design and evaluate work of directors and analysts; be a primary finance contact for the regional CEO and leaders.
• Leverage Financial Planning & Analysis and Health Analytics resources to enable targets.
• Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to ensure financial targets are met.
