Job summary

Valencia County Hospital in Los Lunas, NM, seeks a Hospital Controller to lead all accounting operations for a new 15-bed acute care facility. You will ensure GAAP compliance, manage financial reporting, and oversee payroll accounting and internal controls to produce timely, accurate statements.

Reporting to the CFO, you will supervise staff, coordinate audits, and oversee ERP modules for AP, AR, fixed assets, and payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Master's degree or CPA preferred.
• 3 years in financial management and 1-2 years in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Direct all hospital accounting operations.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Lead budgeting and variance analysis with CFO.
