UMass Chan Medical School seeks a Medical Billing and Finance Analyst to develop and maintain data-driven financial, claim, and program performance reports. This exempt, full-time role requires 3–5 years of federal claiming or medical billing experience, advanced Excel/Access skills, strong analytical and auditing

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain data-driven financial, claim-related, and program performance reports for internal management and external client audiences.
• Perform compliance reviews of program data, including claims, payments, and related data for quality assurance and program integrity purposes.
• Analyze large, complex data sets to quantify problems, inform management decisions, monitor changes and their impact, and communicate information to clients.
• Apply knowledge of program systems to identify and troubleshoot issues, test software changes, and assist clients in using the system.
• Assist in designing internal controls to ensure data quality and accuracy of work products.
• Prepare financial/claims data for submission and ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Produce ad-hoc reports to meet internal and client data requests for decision-making and public records.
