Job summary

Pinehurst Surgical Clinic PA is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial, operational, and enterprise data analytics for a large multi-specialty physician surgical practice. You will build dashboards, validate data, and develop models for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, collaborating with executive leadership and clinical partners.

The role emphasizes data governance, cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging AI tools to streamline reporting and analytics workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, information systems, data analytics, healthcare administration, or related field; master’s preferred.
• 3-5 years financial experience with preferably 2+ years in financial or business analytics.
• Intermediate knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, ICD, revenue codes, HL7, HIPAA, and healthcare terminology.
• Experience with Tableau and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Map and maintain understanding of data sources across EMR, billing, HRIS, and financial systems.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards supporting operations, quality, and finance.
• Prepare trend, variance, and KPI analyses across clinical and financial performance areas.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow models; multi-year forecasting and real estate evaluation.
• Create pro forma and scenario-based models for provider schedules, service lines, and strategic initiatives.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to automate data validation and accelerate report development.
