Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Accountant II PRN to handle monthly financial statements, journal entries, and GL analysis. The role supports federal/state/local filings and year-end audits for Baptist Health entities. CPA preferred and 4+ years of accounting experience are recommended.

The position may involve training staff accountants and assisting with special projects as assigned by the CFO or Controller, with duties aligned to a PRN shift.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Administration with Major in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Certified Public Accountant preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 4 years experience in public or industrial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue monthly financial statements.
• Monthly journal entries and analytical review of general ledger accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet).
• Assist with federal, state, and local reporting for Baptist Health companies (5500, 990, 990-T).
• Assist with year-end audit including analysis, audit report, and footnotes.
