Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense is seeking a Project Manager for hospital facilities in the Fort Sam Houston area. You will oversee planning, coordination, staffing, and subcontractor management to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.

You will lead preconstruction meetings, review bids, and ensure compliance with NFPA, EPA, OSHA standards; familiarity with Air Force MTF design standards and related processes is valued.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in health care construction, renovation and maintenance and repair project management in a hospital environment.
• Must be technically qualified in healthcare facilities management.
• Familiar with NFPA, EPA and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) codes, standards and TJC for hospital accreditations.
• Experience in federal government design and construction management policies and procedures including Air Force MTF design standards, bid preparation, bid solicitation, bid evaluation and award, inspection, acceptance and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to meet objectives within time and funding parameters.
• Review quotes/plans to determine time frame, funding limits, and resource allocation.
• Establish work plans and staffing for each project phase; recruit or assign subcontract personnel.
• Lead preconstruction and coordination meetings with end users and FM staff and other stakeholders.
• Develop market research for ITB and recommend award to COR; prepare Independent Contractor Estimates.
