Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a skilled painter to prepare surfaces and apply protective and decorative coatings on our facilities. This role strengthens the maintenance program across our campuses.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of commercial/industrial painting experience, a valid license or journeyman status, and the ability to read blueprints and work independently or with a team. Willingness to adapt to schedule adjustments is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet one of: OCILB Painter's License, Journeyman's Apprenticeship, or 8 years painting experience.
• 4 years of documented commercial/industrial painting experience.
• Experience installing wall coverings and ceramic tile.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Good math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting and coatings.
• Apply protective/decorative coatings.
• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Adjust to non-standard schedules as needed for operational coverage.
